Naveen Kalsi

Naveen Kalsi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Naveen joined BrainBox AI in 2020 and currently holds the position of Cloud Infrastructure Manager. Prior to that, they served as a DevOps Technical Lead and Senior DevOps Specialist at the same company.

From 2016 to 2020, Naveen worked at Morgan Stanley as a Software Developer and Scrum Master. In this role, they introduced scrum practices for product teams, coached teams on effective use of JIRA, and supported self-service database deployment and promotion frameworks.

Before joining Morgan Stanley, Naveen worked at Autodesk from 2005 to 2016. Their roles at Autodesk included Senior Software Developer, Software Developer, and SCM Specialist. During their tenure, they worked with various Autodesk product teams to implement Continuous Integration pipelines and mentored team members on sysadmin best practices. Additionally, they assisted product teams in JIRA adoption, managed division-wide JIRA, Bamboo, and Confluence instances, and supported product development for Creative Finishing.

In the early stages of their career, Naveen worked as a Web Developer at VerigoXmedia from 2003 to 2005 and at Mile-End Media for a brief period in 2004.

Overall, Naveen Kalsi has gained extensive experience in cloud infrastructure management, DevOps, software development, scrum practices, Continuous Integration, and JIRA administration throughout their career.

Naveen Kalsi attended CEGEP - Vanier College from 1998 to 2000 and obtained a Diploma of College Studies in Communications/Creative Arts. Later, from 2000 to 2003, Naveen pursued another Diploma of College Studies at the same institution, but this time in Computer Science Technology. In terms of additional certifications, Naveen achieved the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate credential from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2023 and the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification in December 2022.
