Kate Ta

Kate Ta is a Solutions Engineer at Brainjolt. Kate previously worked as a Data Scientist at The DevMasters from January 2017 to September 2018. There, they combined customer service with skills in various programming languages for data science and their background in statistics to create a complete immersive experience in the data science program. Kate also did extensive lead generation.

Some of the projects they assembled for customers to enhance their portfolios include GridSearch cross validation methodologies, Bayesian analysis, and advanced data munging. Kate advised customers on the main product and various methods to move forward with their own projects. Some of the topics they covered include translation of Python to R, correction of bias in data collection (boosting), hardware for machine learning servers (motherboards + GPU), and additional presentation mediums (blogs, reports, dashboards).

In addition to advising customers, Kate also designed and ran informative webinars and Meetup presentations for both digital and physical lead generation. Kate also did market research on potential and upcoming locations for best resources towards lead generation. Lastly, they scheduled effective and informative social media and e-mailing list campaigns for lead generation.

Kate Ta studied statistics at California State University, Fullerton and earned their bachelor's degree from the school.
