Owen Philips

Owen Philips is the founder and CEO of BrainKey. Owen was previously a visiting research fellow at Université de Toulouse from April 2017 to June 2017. Prior to that, they were a postdoctoral research fellow at Stanford University School of Medicine from January 2016 to January 2018. Owen was also a neuroscience researcher at Fondazione Santa Lucia from April 2012 to December 2015, and a research associate at Laboratory of Neuroimaging from January 2007 to April 2012.

Owen Philips' educational career has been focused on entrepreneurship and innovation. Owen has a B.S. from University of California, Los Angeles in Biology, and a Ph.D. from University of Rome Tor Vergata in Neuroscience. Owen also did postdoctoral work at Stanford University School of Medicine in Neuroscience. Currently, they are a part of the Stanford Ignite program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and they are also involved with the Stanford Venture Studio.
