Florian Gauer

Florian Gauer is an experienced Advanced Project Engineer currently employed at Brainlab since May 2022. Prior to this role, Florian worked at TÜV SÜD as a Prüfer für aktive Medizinprodukte, conducting safety tests in accordance with IEC standards. Florian also served as a Test Ingenieur at Siemens Healthineers, focusing on angiography system development and participating in agile methodologies for new system types. Earlier experiences include a Bachelor's thesis at Bosch on condition monitoring for high-pressure injection fuel pumps and an internship in manufacturing testing technology, where process improvements and cycle time investigations were key responsibilities. Florian holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Medizintechnik from Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm.
