Jérôme Vuillemin has a strong background in engineering, with a focus on design and mechanics. Jérôme started their career in 2007 as a production worker at Messier-Bugatti, where they gained experience in hydraulic pump production. Jérôme then worked as a technician at NIPSON in 2008 and as an engineering trainee at SecoEPB in 2009.
In 2009, Jérôme joined the European Molecular Biology Laboratory as a Mechatronic Engineer, where they played a key role in a microinjection automation project. Jérôme was responsible for developing a prototype for the needle loading mechanism.
Following their time at EMBL, Jérôme worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Bio-Rad Laboratories in 2010. Jérôme then moved on to Maia RDTC, where they worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer on product development for Bio-rad Schiltigheim.
In 2012, Jérôme joined Brainlab as a Design Engineer. Jérôme worked on various design projects and steadily progressed in their roles, starting as a Design Engineer Mechanics before becoming a Senior Design Engineer. Currently, they are serving as a Principal Design Engineer at Brainlab, a position they have held since November 2023.
