Julian Engelberger

Julian Engelberger is a software engineer specializing in robotic applications at Brainlab since August 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a graduate research assistant at Fraunhofer IPA, where Julian contributed to the development of an augmented reality application for hybrid operating rooms and participated in the Fraunhofer AHEAD technology transfer program. Julian completed a master's thesis on interactive remote rendering of AR applications, and a bachelor's thesis on pose recognition using 3D cameras at ITK Engineering. Previous positions include a temporary role at the University Hospital Heidelberg for medical device installation, FPGA development at NewTec GmbH, and package delivery at DHL. Julian holds a Master of Science in Information Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Hochschule Mannheim.
