Denise Ho

Denise Ho currently serves as General Counsel and EVP of Finance at Brainly, a role held since August 2021, and previously held positions as General Counsel and Head of Corporate Development. Prior to Brainly, Denise Ho was a Partner and Deputy General Counsel at SoftBank Investment Advisers from May 2019 to August 2021. Denise Ho also worked at Tesla as Deputy General Counsel and Head of Legal for Asia Pacific from September 2014 to April 2019, and as Associate General Counsel in the same region. Earlier experience includes a tenure at Shearman & Sterling LLP from October 2005 to August 2014 as Senior Associate and Associate in Mergers & Acquisitions. Initial career steps included roles as a Forensic Auditor at BDO in 2003 and as a Senior Associate and Associate in Audit & Assurance at EY from 1999 to 2002. Denise Ho holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto, a Master of Laws from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of British Columbia.
