Jim Karkanias

Jim Karkanias is an advisor at Brainome and was previously with Gaia Platform, Canary Medical Inc., Chan Zuckerberg Biohub, IOTA Engineering, Inc., COSBI, and Northwest Association for Biomedical Research. Jim was also on the board of Washington Biotechnology & Biomedical Association (WBBA) and GM of Data Platform Group at Microsoft.

Jim Karkanias has a Master of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Drexel University, a Doctor of Philosophy in Neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology and Behavior from Rutgers University.
