Aoni Abd Elhai

Aoni Abd Elhai has a long and diverse work experience in both leadership and development roles. Aoni is currently working as a Senior Backend Data Engineer at BrainPOP and as a Co Founder and lead Architect at a Stealth Startup.

In the past, Aoni has worked as the VP R&D at Wazimo, where they were responsible for the research and development of the company. Prior to that, they served as the CTO at BFrow, where they led all aspects of architecture, software, product life cycle, and team building.

Aoni has also worked at GeoEdge as a Senior Backend Engineer, where they were responsible for the development of offensive image classification and developer scrapping tool using Python. Before that, they served as a Backend Team Lead at Matrix, where they rebuilt the lamp infrastructure and solved caching and security issues in web applications.

Additionally, Aoni has experience as a Senior Backend Engineer at ATG Group and as a Backend Engineer at Play65. Throughout their career, they have acquired skills in various technologies such as Angular, Laravel, Mongo, and MySQL, along with proficiency in Amazon cloud hosting.

Aoni Abd Elhai obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Software Engineering from the University of Liverpool, where they studied from 2016 to 2019. In addition, they received a certification in "Object-Oriented Programming with PHP" from lynda.com in December 2013.
