Yoav Admon

Yoav Admon has extensive work experience in engineering and management roles. Yoav currently serves as the Director of Engineering at BrainQ Technologies since 2022. Previously, they worked at Edwards Lifesciences from 2018 to 2022, where they held the positions of Director Engineering - Product & Process and Sr Mgr, Engineering. At Edwards Lifesciences, they led cross-functional teams and managed engineering operations to ensure compliance, resolve production issues, and drive process optimization.

Prior to Edwards Lifesciences, Yoav worked at Medtronic Israel (Oridion Medical) from 2014 to 2018. Yoav held the positions of R&D Sustaining Platform Manager & Product Manager and R&D Sustaining Electrical and V&V Manager. In these roles, they managed projects, led cross-functional teams, supported existing products, and implemented improvements.

Before joining Medtronic Israel, Yoav worked at Oridion Medical from 2012 to 2014 as the HW Engineering Manager. Yoav managed and led the HW Engineering department, collaborated with production and NPI teams, and ensured product quality improvement.

Prior to Oridion Medical, Yoav worked at AcousticEye Ltd. from 2007 to 2012 as the COO. Yoav was responsible for various operational activities, including production, assembly, purchasing, logistics, and quality assurance. Yoav also managed the Engineering department and led design and NPI processes.

Earlier in their career, Yoav worked at Applied Materials as an NPI Engineer from 2005 to 2007. Yoav specialized in mechanical modules and led NPI activities for wafer inspection in PDC.

Yoav started their career at Israel Aircraft Industries as a Mechanical Engineer from 2000 to 2005.

Yoav Admon completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University from 1997 to 2001. Later, they pursued a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from Bar-Ilan University, completing it from 2003 to 2005.
