Joseph Bracken

Joseph Bracken has worked in the energy industry since 2001, beginning their career at Entergy as an Assistant Operations Manager and SRO at the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station. Joseph then moved on to become the Nuclear Shift Manager and SRO at the same station, before taking on the role of Control Room Supervisor and Senior Reactor Operator (SRO). In 2014, Joseph Bracken joined the Braintree Electric Light Department as Chief Engineer, and later as Operations Manager.

Joseph Bracken obtained their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University in 1986. Joseph then went on to receive their Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from Northeastern University in 1996. Prior to this, they attended Boston College High School. In 2017, they obtained their Commonwealth of MA Licensed Engineer 1st Class from the Massachusetts Department of Fire Services. In 2003, they obtained their NRC Licensed Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
