Lisa Stone

Lisa Stone is a seasoned venture capitalist and angel investor with a focus on cultural and commercial leadership in the beauty and wellness sectors. Currently serving as a General Partner at BrainTrust Fund since April 2022, Lisa has a diverse background that includes roles such as Managing Director at WestRiver Group, where Lisa led a $125MM equity fund, and Chief Strategy Officer at Ellevest. Lisa co-founded BlogHer, a leading women’s social media publisher, and played significant roles in various media and investment firms throughout their career, including as a journalist and strategist at prominent organizations. Lisa holds degrees from Wellesley College and a Nieman Fellowship from Harvard University, along with experience as a visiting scholar at the University of Oxford.
