Davon Clarke

Davon Clarke is an experienced educator currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at New York University, teaching courses in early childhood education and special education since September 2022. Additionally, Davon has been a 1st and 2nd Grade Teacher with the NYC Department of Education since September 2015, with summer teaching roles for various grades. Involvement in multiple educational organizations includes tutoring at braintrust, mentoring with NYC Men Teach, and serving as an Intervention Tutor at Smarten Up LLC. Experience as a Leadership Development Specialist with Teach For America included coaching and developing teacher leadership skills. Davon holds advanced degrees in Childhood Special Education and Teaching English as a Second Language, along with certificates in educational leadership.
