Emmanuel E. Baetge has over 30 years of experience in the biotechnology industry. Emmanuel E. began their career in 1988 as a Group Leader in Cell and Molecular Neurobiology at Bristol-Myers Squibb. In 1992, they became the Vice President of Research and Officer of Company at CytoTherapeutics. In 1997, they were the Chief Scientific Officer and Vice President Research and Development at Modex Therapeutics, Ltd., where they led the development of personalized adult stem cell therapy product for the treatment of chronic ulcers and wound healing. In 2001, they joined ViaCyte as the Chief Scientific Officer and Senior Vice President, where they were responsible for the creation of the scientific and patent portfolio creation as a scientific founder. In 2010, they became the Director and Vice President at Nestl\u00e9 Institute of Health Sciences S.A, where they recruited and led a team of 170 scientists focused on natural products chemistry and screening, multi-omics and digital profiling, aging, cognitive and metabolic health. From 2017 to 2019, they served as a Biotech Entrepreneur and Board Member in Oncology, Nutrition, and Neuroscience. In 2019, they became the CEO and Chairman at AvaChrome, Inc. and in 2021, they were appointed as the Chief Scientific Officer at BrainXell, Inc.

Emmanuel E. Baetge obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UC San Diego between 1974 and 1978. Emmanuel E. then went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Molecular Neurobiology from Cornell University between 1978 and 1983.
