Isamari Soto-Soto, MS has a diverse range of work experience in the field of scientific research and laboratory operations. Isamari began their career as a Dairy Farm Assistant at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez in 2015. Isamari then worked as a Lab Technician, where they gained expertise in reagent/solvent analysis and maintained inventory control. In 2013, Isamari became a Teaching Assistant, supporting professors and implementing innovative teaching methods for animal science courses. During this time, they also served as a Graduate Research Student, conducting research projects and evaluating academic progress. Isamari then joined RTI Surgical as a Cell Technology Specialist, responsible for the aseptic isolation, seeding, and harvesting of stem cells for bone graft substitutes. Isamari also performed cryopreservation of cultured cells and prepared cell culture media. Most recently, Isamari worked at Brammer Bio as a Scientist II in Upstream Process Development, where they designed and evaluated experiments to meet client needs and maintained mammalian and insect cell lines for gene therapy production.
Isamari Soto-Soto, MS completed their education in the field of Animal Science. Isamari earned a Bachelor's degree in Science from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez from 2008 to 2013. In addition, they obtained a Pre-Vet Certification from the University of Puerto Rico in August 2008. Later, Isamari pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Animal Science from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez from 2014 to 2016.
