Benni Weller has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of branding and design. Benni started their career at Peter Schmidt Group in Germany, where they worked as a Designer for clients such as Hugo Boss and Media Saturn Holding. Benni then moved to Sydney, Australia and freelanced for Interbrand, where they worked with Design Directors Christopher Doyle and Mike Rigby. Benni also had a brief stint at Landor Associates, developing campaign visuals and packaging concepts for international brands.
In 2011, Benni joined Lavender as a Freelance Designer, contributing to the design team in the EB Games loyalty program pitch. Benni also worked at Re - a design business, where they played a key role in winning the pitch for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia account and was responsible for the brand rollout across different sectors.
Benni's career then took him to Whybrand in Frankfurt, where they established and led the creative department. Benni helped shape the agency's creative vision and transformed it into a full branding agency. Benni later joined MetaDesign, a successful German branding agency, as a Design Director, leading a team and working on projects for Deutsche Post DHL Group and Concert House Berlin.
In 2015, Benni joined Hulsbosch in Sydney as a Design Director, and later became the Creative Director. Benni worked with top-tier clients such as Channel Seven, Virgin Australia, and Bayer, contributing to the agency's growth and creative culture. Benni left Hulsbosch in 2020 to become the Founder and CEO of Bramp, a smart branding ecosystem for startups and SMEs.
Prior to their current role, Benni also served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Antler Sydney's startup incubator, where they worked on building and growing their business.
Throughout their career, Benni has gained expertise in brand building, strategy, design, and marketing, and has developed strong leadership and creative skills.
Benni Weller completed a Master's degree in Communication Design at Hochschule Rhein Main University of Applied Sciences from 2001 to 2006. Prior to that, they attended HTWG Hochschule Konstanz – Technik, Wirtschaft und Gestaltung from 2000 to 2001, where they studied Computer Science, although it does not specify whether they obtained a degree in this field.
