Brian Whalen

Brian Whalen is currently the CFO at Branch. Brian has previously served as the CFO for Blispay and Network for Good, and was also an advisor for Affirm, Inc. From 2008 to 2013, they were the Director of Merchant Strategy & Planning for Bill Me Later, Inc.

Whalen has been instrumental in the development and growth of several companies. Brian co-founded Blispay and was responsible for building the financial models and finance and accounting team. Brian also ran the fundraising for the company, both venture capital and two warehouse debt facilities. At Network for Good, they redeveloped financial and growth models while managing business with $250M of annual disbursements to non-profits. Brian also drove business and product strategy through analytics.

Whalen is a highly experienced and respected leader in the financial industry. Their experience with startups, fundraising, and financial modeling make him an invaluable asset to any company.

Brian Whalen has an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
