Steven A. Davenport

Steven A. Davenport currently serves as the Safety and Security Coordinator for Branchburg Township School District, a position held since July 2023. Prior experience includes roles such as Archery Instructor at Far Brook School and Assistant Manager at Atlantic Tactical, where the focus was on outfitting America's heroes. Steven's extensive background with the South Orange Police Department spans over 30 years, culminating in the role of Detective Sergeant, alongside various specialized positions including Municipal Counterterrorism Coordinator and Senior Firearms Training Instructor. Steven has pursued ongoing education in criminal justice, firearms training, and counterterrorism through various esteemed organizations since 2009.
