Aramae Galang

Aramae Galang has a diverse work experience, beginning with a role as a Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor at Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre in 2017. In 2020, they began a role as Social Media Director at icommunity, and also founded and became a Content Creator for studywithara. In 2021, they took on a role as Social Media Coordinator at Tidbit, and in 2022 they became a Social Media Specialist at Branch. At studywithara, Galang created a community of +100,000 followers in 1 year of operation with over 1M accounts reached weekly on Instagram, implemented Tech Wallpapers to raise awareness among students resulting in more than 10,000 monthly visits to the website, and established and built working relationships with brands to manage social media campaigns including Google, Cricut, and Pearson Education Canada.

Aramae Galang is currently pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Pharmacology at the University of Toronto, which they began in 2018 and is expected to complete in 2022. Prior to this, they attended St. Timothy Jr./Sr. High School from 2013 to 2018. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Google Digital Garage, Coursera, and the Canadian Red Cross in The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing, Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python), and CPR/AED Level C, respectively.
