Daryl Merkley has been working in the industry since 2007. Daryl began their career as a Salesman for Gitanjali Gems Ltd, where they developed their communication skills with coworkers and customers, and was one of three key holders trusted with opening and managing high valued inventory. In 2009, they became a Team Manager for US Synthetic, where they developed multiple team members and led a team that formed standard flow and rotation. In 2012, they became Sales Manager for Suncrest Diamonds of US Synthetic, where they managed inventory and order fulfillment for Suncrest brand, and was responsible for receiving inspection and checking diamonds against memos. Since 2015, they have been Partner/Senior Account Manager for Brand Makers, one of the leading promotional marketing, direct importing, and branding companies in the country. In this role, they consult with clients on developing innovative and cost effective marketing campaigns for special events, trade shows, or internal services.
Daryl Merkley has a degree in Business Management from Utah Valley University and has completed courses at GIA (Gemological Institute of America).
