Gerald Mark Soto

Gerald Mark Soto is an Animation Director at Brand New School. Gerald has also worked as a freelance animator, designer, and lead animator.

Soto began their career as a freelance animator with 1stAveMachine. Gerald worked on the Back Eyed Peas' Myspace page before moving on to design work for Hornet and Los York. In September 2017, they became a Freelance Senior Animator with Thornberg & Forester. Gerald worked on Exxon animations and composite designs.

Soto left Thornberg & Forester in February of 2018 to become a Motion Graphics Senior Portfolio Instructor at the School of Visual Arts. Gerald taught students about graphic design and animation. In October of that same year, they became a freelance designer and lead animator for Humble TV. Gerald worked on various projects for the company before leaving in November 2017.

Gerald Mark Soto is a visual artist who earned their BFA in graphic design from the School of Visual Arts. Gerald is known for their work in advertising and editorial design.
