Cindy Chi

Cindy Chi has a wealth of experience in design, photography, and marketing. Cindy began their career in 2007 as an Entrepreneur for Southwestern Company, where they gained communication skills and endurance by working 14 hours a day 6 days a week. In 2009, they worked as a Design Media Arts Summer Institute Documenter and Front Desk Consultant at UCLA. In 2010, they worked as an Assistant for Kaili Peng, researching for consumer market and future products, pulling together and organizing materials for a book, and planning and coordinating the beginnings of a company website. In 2011, they worked as a Photography & Marketing Assistant for Mathieu Young, assisting in marketing strategies, and participating and assisting in studio and on-location photo shoots. That same year, they also worked as an Assistant for Casey Reas, updating javadocs for new Processing 2.0. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Designer & Photographer for Kids Exclusive, designing and coding daily email blasts, homepage slides, social media images, and online advertising campaigns, as well as enhancing the company image via seasonal lookbooks. Cindy also planned, coordinated, and executed photoshoots and video shoots from start to finish. Finally, from 2013 to the present, they have been working as a UI Designer for Brandboom.

Cindy Chi attended the University of California, Los Angeles from 2001 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Design Media Arts.
