Kate Chavez

Kate Chavez is an accomplished Senior Instructional Designer at BrandEd Holdings, where since November 2020, Kate has managed a global team of Instructional Designers and Educational Technologists, launched multiple large-scale client programs, and ensured ADA compliance and accessibility of learning content. Prior to this role, Kate served as a Senior Instructional Design and Development Analyst at Pearson, overseeing course development processes and engaging as a Quality Matters Peer Reviewer. As a Lead Instructional Designer and Co-Director of Development at Blessed Sacrament Huguenot Catholic School, Kate achieved significant fundraising milestones and led students to a 100% college acceptance rate. Additionally, Kate has experience teaching literature across various grade levels while serving as the English Department Chair at the Catholic Diocese of Richmond. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Literature from Longwood University and a Bachelor's degree in English Education from Radford University.
