Chris Carlton has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Chris began their career in the US Navy as an Intelligence Officer, serving on the USS Abraham Lincoln and later at NIMA in Washington, D.C. Following their military service, Chris worked as a Marketing Coordinator for the Arizona Diamondbacks. Chris then worked at The Martin Agency, where they held roles as Account Supervisor and Senior Account Executive, managing clients such as ESPN, BFGoodrich, Wal-Mart, and MillerCoors. Chris also worked as a Marketing Consultant for the non-profit organization 1in6, Inc. before becoming their Marketing Director. In this role, they developed a strong brand identity, led a successful awareness campaign, and synchronized communications. Chris also founded Craft and Grain, a sustainable home furnishings manufacturer, and served as its Owner and Founder. Chris later joined Ten35 as a Global Account Supervisor, leading marketing efforts for PrimaLoft, Inc. on a global scale. Chris also worked as the Veterans Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Coordinator at Veterans Education Transition & Employment Services, where they developed strategies to support veteran entrepreneurs in Virginia. Most recently, Chris has taken on the role of Founder at Together Bar, a retail and DTC organic functional nutrition bar brand focused on raising funds and awareness for non-profits. Currently, Chris is the Director of Operations at Brandefy App, a community-driven platform for finding and sharing alternative beauty products. Throughout their career, Chris has demonstrated expertise in various areas including brand positioning, marketing strategy, P&L management, and entrepreneurship.
Chris Carlton earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech in 1996. Chris later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University from 2003 to 2005.
