Ezra Tefera M.D.

Ezra Tefera MD, MSc, currently serves as Program Director, Associate Researcher, and Program Administrator at Brandeis University since July 2022. Previously, Ezra held the positions of Principal Chief Executive Officer and Medical Doctor at Netsebrak Integrated Family Center from January 2019 to February 2023, focusing on evidence-based services for children under four and support for families. Ezra's experience also includes roles as Technical Advisor at Woodward Ethiopia and Birhan Integrated Community Development Organization, where consulting on health services and community engagement was emphasized. Additionally, Ezra served as Medical Director at Panacea Health Service P.L.C and performed various roles, including General Practitioner and Private Wing Director, at Lemlem Karl General Hospital. Educational credentials include a Master of Global Health Policy and Management from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Addis Ababa University.
