Jeffrey Shoulson

Jeffrey Shoulson currently serves as the Dean of Arts and Sciences and Professor of English at Brandeis University since August 2023. Prior to this role, Jeffrey held several positions at the University of Connecticut for over a decade, including Senior Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, Professor and Director of the Doris and Simon Konover Chair of Judaic Studies, and Director of the Center for Judaic Studies and Contemporary Jewish Life. Jeffrey also served in various vice provost roles focused on academic operations and interdisciplinary affairs. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in English from Yale University, an M. Phil. in Renaissance Studies from the University of Cambridge, and a BA in English Language and Literature from Princeton University, among other academic credentials.
