Lucretia E. Jones, DrPH, MPH, currently serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at The City University of New York and is an Institutional Review Board member at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Jones is actively involved in community and research initiatives as a member of the Bronx Community Board 2 and as an Executive Board Member for the Bronx Community Research Review Board. Contributions to the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute as a PCORI Ambassador further reflect a commitment to public health. With a long tenure at the NYC Department of Health & Mental Hygiene, serving as the Director of the General Surveillance Unit and HIV Surveillance Coordinator, Jones has a substantial background in epidemiology and communicable diseases. Previous leadership roles include founding the board of Mothers On the Move, a social justice organization, and participating as an Executive Board Member of the CUNY School of Public Health Alumni Association. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Public Health from the CUNY School of Public Health, a Master of Public Health from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Brandeis University.
