Margaret Morganroth Gullette

Margaret Morganroth Gullette serves as a Resident Scholar at the Women's Studies Research Center at Brandeis University, where notable works include the award-winning book *Ending Ageism, or How Not to Shoot Old People* (2017) and *AGEWISE* (2011), which garnered an Eric Hoffer Book Award. Gullette co-founded and directs the Free High School for Adults in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua, which aims to support underprivileged students in obtaining high school diplomas, celebrating the graduation of over 1100 students and winning the Marigold "Ideas for Good" contest in 2012. With a robust background in writing and editing, Gullette is also a recognized author of four influential books addressing ageism and cultural studies. Educational achievements include a Ph.D. from Harvard University, as well as master's and bachelor's degrees from the same institution, alongside additional studies at the University of California.
