Aaron S.

Aaron S. has over 25 years of experience in the software engineering and database development/architecture field. Aaron started their career at SAIC in 1996, where they worked as a Senior Applications Engineer. During this time, they developed US Intelligence Decision Support Systems, modeling and simulation systems, and Geographic Information Systems. Aaron then joined Akimeka, LLC in 2006 as a Senior Database Developer/Architect, providing Oracle 11gR2 development and engineering support for a large maritime domain awareness database. Aaron'sresponsibilities included advanced PL/SQL coding, query optimization, data modeling, and data loading techniques. In 2014, Aaron S. joined Brandes Associates, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they worked on the Syndeo messaging product, developing and engineering solutions for messaging between different systems and domains using Java, JavaScript, various communication protocols, XML, databases, and security mechanisms.

Aaron S. attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 1993 to 1996 and received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Manufacturing Engineering. Later, from 2000 to 2002, they pursued higher education at the University of Maryland Global Campus, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management Information Systems.
