David Gilson, CFA, is an experienced investment professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Research Analyst and Associate Portfolio Manager focusing on Fixed Income since June 2002, David Gilson conducts assessments of risk associated with default/losses and determines necessary returns based on risk, adhering to a bottom-up, long-term investment approach. Prior to this role, David Gilson worked as an Associate Fund Manager in High Yield at American Express Financial Advisors/IDS from May 1989 to September 1997. Educationally, David Gilson holds a BBA in Finance and Economics from Baylor University, where studies were pursued from 1982 to 1984, along with general business coursework at Drake University from 1980 to 1982.
