Deon Schaffer

Deon Schaffer is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in information systems and management. Currently serving as the Director of Technology at Brandes Investment Partners since June 2010, Deon oversees the technology division and manages the firm's IT strategy. Prior roles include Chief Technology Officer and Managing Consultant at Information Strategies, Inc., where project delivery was prioritized, and application development lead using Microsoft technologies. Deon's career began as an Application Manager at Bar-Kal Systems Engineering and includes roles in website and application development across various sectors. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Information Systems and Technology Management from The George Washington University School of Business, as well as a B.Sc. in Engineering/Industrial Management from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
