John Chambers

John Chambers has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Their most recent position was as a Sr. DevOps Engineer at Branding Brand since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a DevOps Engineer at HCL Technologies from February 2021 to February 2022.

From 2016 to 2020, John worked at PGi as a Senior Voip Engineer, where they played a key role in bringing new Lync/SfB integrations to market and improving existing audio conferencing provider integrations. John also handled various responsibilities including lab setup and maintenance, SIP trunk installation and configuration, Office 365 tenant setup and configuration, and maintaining and supporting the company's global Skype ACP integration infrastructure. During this time, they also served as a DevOps for WebRTC-based meeting and collaboration tools, managing AWS resources, Kubernetes cluster, deployment of Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD management.

Before joining PGi, John was a self-employed Independent Consultant from August 2015 to April 2016. Prior to that, they worked at Enabling Technologies Corp as a Support Engineer from August 2014 to August 2015, where they provided support for OCS, Lync, and Skype for Business deployments.

John's earlier experiences include working as a Network & Server Technician at Georgia Military College from November 2009 to August 2014 and as an IT Intern at Imerys in 2008.
