Stephanie Lachapelle has a diverse work experience in various companies. Stephanie started their career as a Technical Writer at PAX Technology in October 2019, where they created and edited marketing content, technical documentation, and training materials. Stephanie then joined Black Knight in February 2021 as an Instructional Designer, simplifying complex content into clear and concise language for product release notes and end-user training. Following this, Stephanie worked at Longleaf Review as the Editor in Chief starting from October 2017, where they managed site content and information architecture, as well as provided editorial support to authors.
In 2022, Stephanie joined UX Writing Hub as a UX Writing Mentor, where their responsibilities included providing feedback and guidance on UX writing assignments, facilitating professional development, and assisting students with their research projects and style guides. Currently, they are also working at Audible Amazon as a Sr. UX Writer since May 2023, following their previous role as a UX Writer.
Throughout their career, Stephanie has demonstrated their expertise in UX writing, editing, content management, and instructional design, showcasing their ability to adapt and contribute to various roles and industries.
Stephanie Lachapelle attended the University of Central Florida from 2016 to 2018, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature. Before that, they studied at Florida State College at Jacksonville from 2014 to 2016, earning an Associate of Arts degree in English Language and Literature. Furthermore, Stephanie has obtained several certifications, including a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, a MS Azure DevOps Solutions: Design and Implement Agile Work Management Approach certificate from Skillsoft, and a WCAG 2.0 Accessibility Standards certificate, also from Skillsoft.
