Jim Pearson

Jim Pearson has over 25 years of experience in the field of structural engineering. Jim is currently serving as the President at Brandow & Johnston Structural + Civil Engineers since August 2017. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Vice President from February 2016 to July 2017. Jim was also a Principal at Saiful Bouquet Structural Engineers Inc. from November 1999 to January 2016. Jim Pearson started their career as a Project Engineer at Englekirk Structural Engineers from November 1992 to November 1999. Jim gained initial experience as an Engineer at Correia Consulting & Design from June 1992 to September 1992.

Jim Pearson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, which they completed between 1988 and 1992. Jim later pursued further education in the field of Structural Engineering at the University of Southern California in 1997. In 1994-1995, Jim attended UCLA Extension to study Construction Management/Finance. Additionally, they obtained certifications as a Civil Engineer and Structural Engineer from the California Board of Professional Engineers & Land Surveyors.
