Jim Brumsey

Jim Brumsey has extensive legal experience specializing in corporate, finance, mergers and acquisitions, and securities. Currently serving as Assistant General Counsel at BrandSafway since November 2021, Jim has previously held significant roles at HD Supply, including Vice President of Legal and Director of Legal for Corporate, M&A, and Securities. Prior to joining HD Supply, Jim practiced as an Associate at King & Spalding LLP, focusing on corporate law and securities. Educationally, Jim Brumsey earned a Doctor of Law (JD) with honors from Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History and Speech Communications from Wake Forest University.
