Michael Hidden

Michael Hidden, CPA, CA, currently serves as a Senior Tax Manager at BrandSafway, where responsibilities include overseeing all Canadian direct income tax matters, implementing OECD Pillar Two regulations globally, and assisting with transfer pricing management. Since March 2020, Michael has also been an External Consultant for CPA Canada, contributing to the Professional Education Program and Preparatory Courses. Previous experience includes a role as Manager of Business Tax Services at EY, where Michael managed Canadian income tax compliance engagements and provided support for income tax audits. Michael has held positions in academia as a Contract Instructor at Sprott School of Business and has a solid background in tax compliance and auditing with various organizations, including Harris Computer and The Bank of Nova Scotia. Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Carleton University and completed the In-Depth Tax Course through CPA Canada.
