Zeynep Z.

Zeynep Z. has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2013. Zeynep has held roles as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Istanbul 5th High Criminal Court, Istanbul 7th Administrative Court, Istanbul 8th Enforcement and Bankruptcy Office, and Istanbul Financial Crimes Prosecutor. In 2014, they were a Lawyer in Training at Kinstellar and Semiz Attorneys at Law. In 2015, they were a Research Assistant at UC Hastings College of the Law, researching Turkish Immigration Law and constitutional rights of the immigrants in Turkey, as well as a Foreign Attorney/Legal Consultant at IPLG, filing trademark and copyright applications, responding to office actions, notices of oppositions, filing oppositions to trademarks with TTAB, preparing and managing discovery procedures, and drafting discovery responses. Since 2019, they have been an Enforcement Manager at BrandShield.

Zeynep Z. obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Law from Bahcesehir University in 2013. In 2014-2015, they attended University of California, Hastings College of the Law (now UC Law San Francisco) and obtained a Master's Degree in U.S. Legal Studies: Science, Technology and Intellectual Property. In 2013, Zeynep Z. also attended the University of Kansas School of Law for the Istanbul Summer School in Comparative Law. In 2022, they obtained a CopyrightX certification from HarvardX - An Online Learning Initiative by Harvard University through edX. Zeynep Z. is also an Attorney at Law, certified by the Istanbul Bar Association.
