Gabriel Morales

Gabriel Morales has extensive experience in organizational leadership and advocacy, currently serving as Executive Director at Brandworkers since October 2016, with previous roles including Interim Executive Director, Program Director, and Campaign Director. At the Texas State Employees’ Union, Gabriel successfully organized over 10,000 state employees and 2,000 members across Texas as an Organizer from April 2014 to February 2016, also establishing three influential worker committees. Prior experience includes positions with UNITE HERE as a Summer Organizer, engaging in boycott actions and worker dignity campaigns, and with United Students Against Sweatshops, where Gabriel developed the region's online presence and created informative materials. Gabriel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
