Mahmoud "Moody" Mattan

Mahmoud "Moody" Mattan has over 10 years of experience in the tech industry. In 2009, they began their career as a Project Manager at the Global Coalition for Efficient Logistics, where they researched and wrote a business plan and financial projections used to obtain $20 million in early stage financing. Mahmoud "Moody" then moved on to Manara Travel in 2011, where they served as Operations Manager. In 2012, they earned their MBA in Entrepreneurship & Venture Capital from Babson College. From 2013 to 2014, they were the Head of Business Development at Powis Parker, Inc., where they founded PowisVR and worked with various teams to build a multimillion dollar virtual reality headset and mobile accessories business. In 2017, they became the Co-Founder & Chief Business Officer of Electrifly Co. and in 2018 they served as a Board Advisor at Orlando Game Space. In 2016, they Co-Founded BrandXR, a company focused on new immersive technologies like augmented, virtual, and mixed reality. Most recently, in 2020, they became a Fellow at On Deck.

Mahmoud "Moody" Mattan began their educational journey in 2006 when they attended Wayne State University, where they earned a BS, Summa Cum Laude in Business Management. In 2012, they continued their education by enrolling in the Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Entrepreneurship & Venture Capital in 2013.
