Phylicia Joseph

Phylicia Joseph, MHA, CALA has a diverse work experience spanning various healthcare settings. Phylicia currently holds the position of Director of Community Relations at Brandywine Living since March 2020. Prior to this, they worked at CentraState Healthcare System as a member of the Radiology Department Clinical Support team for over 15 years, from May 2005 to April 2021. Phylicia also served as the Director of Social Services at Alameda Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare from October 2019 to February 2020. Before that, they held the same position at Regency Jewish Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for almost 3 years, from May 2016 to October 2019. At Regency Jewish Heritage, they also worked as a Social Worker from December 2012 to April 2016, where they provided medical-related social services and conducted psychosocial assessment evaluations. Phylicia Joseph began their career as a Global Options Care Manager at Jewish Family & Children's Service of Greater Mercer County for a short period from June 2012 to December 2012. Prior to this, they served as a Care Manager at Philadelphia Corporation for Aging for 4 years, from December 2008 to June 2012, where they implemented community-based long-term care services for older adults. Phylicia also has research experience from their time as a Research Assistant at Temple University, working on projects related to middle school transition and African American families. Additionally, they worked as a Telephone Interviewer at Temple University's Institute for Survey Research from January 2005 to January 2006.

Phylicia Joseph, MHA, CALA has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and African American Studies from Temple University. Phylicia also holds a Master's degree in Health Care Administration from NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. In addition, they have obtained a certification as an Assisted Living Facility Manager from the NJ Department of Health in January 2020.
