Ashley Valm

Ashley Valm is an accomplished operations manager currently overseeing operations at Brandywine Valley SPCA since December 2024. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Shelter Programs at Humane Rescue Alliance, where responsibilities encompassed managing multiple program areas and developing strategic initiatives for inventory management and financial processes. Ashley also held various leadership roles within Humane Rescue Alliance, including Training & Behavior Director, Director of Adoptions, and Shelter Behavior Manager, where significant accomplishments involved innovating business plans, facilitating operational shifts during the pandemic, and driving organizational excellence. Earlier roles included serving as an independent behavior and training specialist and as Development & Communications Manager at PAN Foundation, where skills in donor engagement and online platform enhancement were honed. Ashley holds a B.A. in Political Science from Hollins University.
