Mike Lauer

Mr. Lauer is responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of Branom Instrument Co. utilizing his career that has spanned engineering, construction, sales, and project management. The 10-years before Branom, Mr. Lauer worked for Foss Maritime (a Saltchuk Company) in increasing leadership roles. Prior to Foss, he was employed as a field engineer by Bechtel, a leading engineering, construction, and project management firm.

Mr. Lauer has always had a fascination with the measurement, control, and automation industry with an ambition to grow a company in which he had a significant ownership interest. In July of 2018, he pursued these aspirations by assuming the CEO role at Branom Instrument Co. Going forward, Mike is committed to Mr. Ray Branom’s philosophy that the three most important aspects of any business can be expressed simply: Service, Service, Service.

On the personal side, Mike resides in Seattle with his wife and two daughters with whom he enjoys the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Oregon State University, followed by a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business.
