Amanda Reid, PMP

Amanda Reid, PMP, has over 20 years of experience in project management and engineering. Amanda began their career in 1998 as an Electrical Engineer at Cundall. In 2001, they joined BT as a Systems Engineer and Project/Development Manager. From 2006 to 2009, they worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Buro Happold. From 2009 to 2013, they were a Project Manager/ Associate at Stantec, where they prepared successful Requests for Proposals, reviewed contracts and proposals, and produced project plans and reports. In 2017, they joined Reid Consulting as a Project Manager, where they contracted with Amvantage Consulting to build client relationships and improve internal project efficiency, created an internal filing system, contracted for Zenith Commissioning for Fire Alarm compliance projects, and built and managed a subscription user knowledge and blog website capable of 1M+ users. Amanda also served as Treasurer of The Pulse Network in 2017. In 2021, they joined BrantTel Networks as a Project Manager.

Amanda Reid, PMP has an extensive education history, beginning with their completion of Exercise Therapist Skills and Postural Alignment Specialist courses from Egoscue University. Amanda then earned a Bachelors degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from London South Bank University between 1996 and 1998. Additionally, they attended Epping Forest College. In 2019, they obtained a Procore Certified: Project Manager (Core Tools) certification from Procore Technologies. In 2014, they obtained their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
