Daniel MacEachran

Daniel MacEachran has a diverse work experience in the field of biotechnology and innovation. Daniel is currently serving as the Global Head of Biotechnology at Braskem America starting from December 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Building 68 Consulting, LLC as the Managing Member and Senior Consultant from June 2021.

Before joining Braskem America, Daniel held multiple roles at Braskem from 2018 to 2021. Daniel served as the Head of Technology Scouting and Open Innovation, Innovation and Technology, from November 2019 to May 2021. Daniel held the position of Director of Applications R&D, where they led a multidisciplinary team in the application of RNA production technology. Daniel also served as the Associate Director, Platform Applications, and Senior Metabolic Engineer/Project Lead at GreenLight Biosciences.

Daniel MacEachran's career began at Logos Technologies, LLC, where they worked as a Senior Scientist/Microbiologist from 2010 to 2014. Daniel conducted various tasks ranging from basic bench science to managing large-scale production facilities with a focus on producing biofuels and green chemicals from renewable biomass.

Daniel's earlier experience includes working at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as a Visiting Scientist - Team Leader and as a Postdoctoral Associate in bacterial genetics and metabolic engineering.
