Michelle K. Sing

Michelle K. Sing, Ph.D., is a Senior Research Engineer in Advanced Materials at Braskem, where responsibilities include leading innovative projects in material informatics and developing advanced solutions for 3D printing. Key achievements include launching Braskem’s first post-consumer recycled filament and contributing to the establishment of Xtellar, a spin-off company for 3D materials. Prior experience includes a research assistant role at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where research focused on rubber recycling and materials behavior, as well as multiple internships in engineering and materials analysis. Michelle holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from MIT and a Bachelor of Science and Engineering in Polymer Science and Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
