Daniel Furlaneto

Daniel Furlaneto, CFA, is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in accounting, controllership, and risk management. Currently serving as the Accounting and Controllership Director at Braskem since July 2013, Daniel has held various leadership roles within the company, including Director of Shared Services and Controllership and Risk Manager. Prior to Braskem, Daniel worked at Standard Bank Group in Project Finance and Debt Capital Markets, and at MPL Gestão de Recursos as part of the Fund of Funds team. Daniel's career began at Braskem as a Treasury Desk Senior Analyst, following a traineeship at Banco Itaú and an analyst role at Accenture. Daniel holds a degree in Mechatronics Engineering with a focus on Automation from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, completed in 2004.
