Principal Research Specialist at Braskem

Eunil Kim is a highly experienced professional in the field of catalysis, currently serving as Principal Research Specialist at Braskem since January 2022, focusing on global catalysis. Previously, Eunil held the position of Principal Researcher at Hanwha Total Petrochemical from January 2019 to December 2021, specializing in Ziegler-Natta polypropylene catalysts and non-phthalate internal donors. A notable leader, Eunil managed the Catalyst R&D Team at Hanwha Total Petrochemicals from December 2012 to December 2018, overseeing the development and commercialization of Ziegler-Natta catalysts. Eunil's career also includes significant roles in catalyst development at Hanwha-Total Petrochemicals, research work in polymerization at Korea Kumho Petrochemical, and postdoctoral research in chemistry at both the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Johns Hopkins University.
