Michelle K. Sing

Michelle K. Sing, Ph.D., is a Senior Research Engineer specializing in Advanced Materials at Braskem since January 2018. In this role, Michelle has significantly contributed to enhancing material circularity and has co-authored federal grants leading to three publications. Key achievements include leading pilot studies on material informatics for 3D printing and launching Braskem’s first post-consumer recycled (PCR) product, along with spearheading R&D projects focused on polyolefins for additive manufacturing. Prior experience includes a research assistantship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a corporate engineering internship at Swagelok, and various research roles during undergraduate studies at Case Western Reserve University. Michelle holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from MIT and a Bachelor of Science in Polymer Science and Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
