Emily Young is a seasoned professional in the home furnishings and fashion industries, currently serving as the Founder, Buyer, and Designer at Brass & Burl since April 2016, specializing in curated home decor. Prior experience includes a role as Buyer for Fine Furniture at One Kings Lane and various positions at Bloomingdales.com, including Senior Assistant Buyer for Women's Ready To Wear and Assistant Buyer for Intimates, Sleepwear & Hosiery. Emily's career began with sales positions at Takashimaya New York and Showroom Seven, along with an internship at Nina Ricci. A graduate of Parsons School of Design with a BFA in Fashion Design, Emily also holds a Certificate of Achievement in International Protocol and Etiquette from the Institute Villa Pierreffue.
