A. Kyle Hagstrom, MD, is the Unit Chief at The Birches Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs at The Brattleboro Retreat since August 2017. Prior experience includes serving as a Staff Physician at NCH Healthcare System from February 2013 to March 2016, where responsibilities involved psychiatric and pain management consults with a focus on psycho-oncology. A. Kyle Hagstrom completed a Pain Management Fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center from August 2011 to July 2012 and residency in Psychiatry at the University of Arizona College of Medicine from 2008 to 2011. Additional experience includes working as an Anesthesiologist at Valley Anesthesiology Consultants, Ltd from 1997 to 2007, and residency in Anesthesiology at Mayo Clinic from July 1993 to July 1997. A. Kyle Hagstrom received an MD from Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth between 1989 and 1993 and a BA in Economics from Colby College from 1982 to 1986, along with a high school diploma from Phillips Academy, Andover.
